Palissades Eagle Loop - Rock Climbing

Initally, we wanted to do the acropole des draveurs but when we arrived on site we were told that we needed to book online prior to doing the hiking trail. It was a bummer because we had drove 6 hours and we had no idea about the online booking. I just knew the trail was almost 5 stars on AllTrails and it was worth the trip....We had to figure out a backup plan last minute, we opened up All Trails and we checked the nearby trails that seemed nice and challenging enough.

We found one called Palissades Eagle Loop and we gave them a call before hand to make sure we didn't need to book in advance or anything like that...The gentlemen told us that everything was fine and we could come over. Upon our arrival we changed in hiking gear and headed to the main cottage, the entry fee was about 8$ per person.

We started hiking and noted a few steep rocking path, we even had to cross a waterfall that was pretty dry for the time being. There were ropes to help us cross the waterfall and a few others along the path to help us get over bigger rocks. Once at the top of the mountain there was a small cabin right on the edge which was pretty special. A few people were eating their lunch and hanging out as we took a few pictures.

The trail was 4.3 km and considered a moderate hike according to AllTrails.
